Why is this only geared towards people who grew up in Manhattan and not the city as a whole?

What if you grew up in the outerboros where you took the subway to school, played stickball, played on the sidewalk rather than the front lawn, etc... Is that considered suburbs?

Manhattan doesn't = NYC though, I'm sure no one would've gotten confused. I grew up in Brooklyn (though not Manhattan, it's the second densest/urban county in America) and I wouldn't want it any other way.

No suburbs for this guy!
