Why? They do it all the time. The NYCHA apartment or place you're living in now, what if the landlord told you that right before you rented the place, someone was murdered or died in there? Would you move out? Highly unlikely.

I lived in an apt before that someone died of old age. But if someone was just murdered thats a different story. You'd also know now if someone was murdered right before you move in, The power of the internet and social media.

yes they do. you're misinformed. the agent will spin the listing to make it seem like the ultimate, elite apartment or house, and no one will be none the wiser.

I am not misinformed,you are not understanding the thread. I am saying that no matter the circumstances surrounding an apt,it will still be up on the market waiting to be rented out. Before you jump to conclusions,read,re-read,and understand before typing something and trying to insult me.
