And I bet that they claim all of their tips that they get for christmas on their taxes!

Seriously, 21 dollars an hour for being a doorman.... WTF!!!

I doormen that sleep with some of the tenants get discounts on apts from management companies for themselves or immediate family. Theres some pluses dependning on how you look at it.

I've done doorman/concierge work before. The last time I was working the night shift at a Williamsburg building, from Fri-Mon. The management demanded a lot and were not paying that 21$ ph, and not even holiday pay or health benefits. There were times when I dealt with stalkers, thieves, and the mentally ill at the gates or parking area, I worked alone in one of these newer Williamsburg buildings at night, it was me and the super. Downside is you eventually, mentally feel like slave or servant. The upside, depending where you are at, you get to meet a lot of interesting people.

There were a lot of nice looking specimens in the Williamsburg building, I got food and even marijuana offers in jars LOL! But never slept with any of the women, damn! ?
