My best friend and her husband are visiting until Tuesday April 2nd. Please help me dont know where else to take them (Ideally on a budget) I am running out of places. Took them to Broadway already.

About her:
She is an actress

About him:
He is starting his career as a film director
Photographer
Involved humanitarian work, charities

obviously they are a creative couple. I took them to The Frick museum and while they were grateful and appreciate art dont think is their thing.

Art isn't his thing as a film director and photographer?

Why don't you ask them what they are interested in doing? They are adults. They should have some idea of what they would like to see and do in NYC. You shouldn't have to chaperone them like kids.

My favs:
Highline (free)
Chinatown and Little Italy
The Met

Let them go wonder themselves. They are grown adults, nyc is a fun place. Don't feel the need to baby-sit them. If they ask you take them some where special then do so if not let them explore.

Take them to the projects, go to the roof and hope this is the week they are testing the guns by shooting in the air. Im sure a script can be made from this experience which he can direct and she can act in it

OR

Take them to some parties/burlesque shows/live music. Off Broadway shows.

You live in NYC, and all you can think of is Broadway? You need to buy a guidebook for your own use, just to acquaint you with the city.

First, just because they've seen one play doesn't mean they can't see another one. If he's a photographer, why don't you sent them to photography exhibitions? If he has an interest in movies, how about one of the pre-eminent movie theaters for cinephiles? Take them to Chinatown. Send them to the Empire State Building.

Or just give them a copy of Time Out, and let them choose for themselves.
