When you sign nights you are saying you prefer night work, which includes all night shifts, you don't sign for a specific shift, and even then just cause you sign nights doesn't mean you'll make nights at all. No steady shifts unless you get a tissue spot. Otherwise, it's seniority based
So after the call to fill out online booklet ..you have to report to hr for what they call final processing? Is this when when they offer you position and roughly how long after that phone do they call you in for final processig? Thanks for assistance guys and gals

Yup true and how long do you have to wait to sign up for a tissue if it available
If a tissue spot opens up you can sign for it right away, whoever the most senior guy to sign up is , gets the spot. If you transfer into a garage you have to wait a year to sign for a tissue.
The best and im sure everbodys been through this is when you're 12-8 all week and then on saturday when you actually dont mind being 12-to 8 (cause of the longer weekend )you get bumped to 4 to 12 lol and then on monday back to 12 to 8 thats basically not a day off. that will happen a lot to.
Yes, they mentioned this at orientation. Once you pass your medical and they reach your number you will get the call for final processing. Class starts July 13 so figure you will go in for Final processing 1 to 2 weeks before that date.
