I'm assuming every single one of those workers weren't hired yesterday. So they've been doing the job day in day out with a care about needing gloves and masks and whatever else.
Now, they want those items immediately. Well that's not going to happen. Even if it was put in motion to get those items, with the company they work for being large, being at an airport, etc., from the time it gets put in motion to the time the workers actually get the equipment, is going to be a while. In this time period, if they aren't going out and buying their own equipment for a few dollars, then they really don't care that much about their own health.
Nope. Did they try this during the avian flu scare?
