Blood on the hands of this POS mayor. You fear for your son around cops???? I wonder how most working people in NYC feel about the same people who cause most of the mayhem.

My thoughts are this is tragic and the first thing that popped into my head was "some deranged guy did this". Much in the same way we've seen deranged and angry people (of any race or ethnicity) set out with a vendetta and go after the object of their rage. We see this all the time, some fringe Muslim terrorist group bombs something then you have some deranged person pushing Muslims onto train tracks. Some student angry because girls won't talk to him, goes on a shooting spree. Someone mad at the world, starts shooting up a school, a movie theater, etc. There are countless examples but of course the usual race war trolls won't see it this way and will just start spewing their same tired rhetoric.

Bratton will hold News Conference at 7pm. Too bad he's DeBlasio's bagman. He was great under Giuliani.

Bratton should resign rather than work for a mayor who doesn't support the police by virtue of his words which raise tensions rather than lower them. Also for letting protesters shut down bridges and roads. This incident is reminiscent of the rookie cop in 1988 who was shot execution style (that's what it was) while guarding a home.

No burning entire neighborhoods is not the answer, it is never right morally to kill entire neighborhoods.

Time to get a grip.

Yep, you make very valid points. Speaking of terrorism don't you find it odd how more people were killed at the hands of police than terrorists in the US? I'm also reading an article right now (not sure how accurate) that states more Americans were killed by police than soldiers since the inception of the Iraq war, damn.

To the cop apologists out there who may be reading this post, no I'm not excusing this tragedy you spineless turds...

I agree. Bratton had a more than respectable career and coming back to NY to work under this guy was a big mistake. I can't stand to hear him licking the Mayor's boots. If he has any cahones he'll quit.
