Ok, where on Bushwick? Bushwick is pretty long! I often hear people saying that they're from Bushwick when asked. Is there a specific area along Bushwick Ave that's considered the neighborhood of Bushwick?
It's like someone saying "I live on 1st ave" when asked where in Manhattan they live meanwhile 1st ave is 125 blocks long!

So Bushwick is a specific area of Brooklyn along Bushwick Ave then? So say I live on Bushwick and Metropolitan Ave, I don't say I live in Bushwick but instead I say I live in Williamsburg?
It sounds like you're mixing up Bushwick the neighborhood and Bushwick avenue. When people say they are "from Bushwick" they probably mean the neighborhood 95% of the time. The avenue does run through the neighborhood but as you point out, it runs through a few neighborhoods and not all of it is technically part of the neighborhood "Bushwick". The intersection with Metropolitan I would certainly consider Williamsburg (or maybe East Williamsburg, although I don't think that distinction is necessary).

That's like living on Manhattan Avenue in Brooklyn and saying that you live in Manhattan.... Two different things.
