NYC police stop-and-frisk numbers down sharply

NYPD officers should learn how to conduct actual investigations which result in arresting criminals. Simply stopping random people because they have black/brown or tanned skin will not help them in their efforts, if they are really serious about reducing crime in NYC.

It's lazy policing. If I was police commissioner all I would do is flood the projects with cops, that's where most of the crime happens.

Hmm, so what was that some people were saying about how the cops wouldn't do anything now other than drive around with smiles on their faces?

I truly can't figure out what you're trying to say.

Well my statement was fairly obvious so I'll have to let you figure it out.

Hint: shootings are up and gun arrests are down since August. Coincidence?

Here's the reality...S&F is way down...while crime is also way down and continues to be so. If any cops claims "well since I can't S&F anyone, for any reason, then I won't do my job at all"..then that cop should be fired and go to jail, as they are admitting to violating constitutional rights.

Are those the kind of cops you want? I sure don't! The ones that want to be above the law and do what they want, otherwise they will, as you say "drive around with smiles on their face" and do nothing? Is that what you are defending?

Really?

Please explain where I defended this mindset without using hyperbole, strawman arguments/attacks, and/or any other absurd twisting of logic. In other words, show me what I SAID where I am defending do nothing cops.

FYI, gun crime is not currently going down. Shootings are up since August and gun arrests are down. Look it up.

Stop and Frisk didn't make the city go from over a thousand murders and down to less that 400. It really isn't needed.
NYC will do fine without it.
