Poor McDonalds is taking a beating nowadays..
Yup McDonald's definitely has had a rough couple of years. Their pi** poor quality eventually got to them. I would only go to McD's if there is absolutely nothing else around. In some areas of the Bronx that is the case still unfortunately and even then I'd only get a salad and maybe a chicken sandwich. I occasionally still go to BK or Wendy's. But the premium places ie Shake Shack, Five Guys, etc are worth the few bucks more. I'd even go to some local "hood" place like Jimbo's over Mc'D's.

Not all ethnic food is healthy. At least Shake Shack uses grass fed meat. I wouldn't call it healthy but if your eating burgers and fries regularly and worried about your health then you need to learn about nutrition in general. And I mean that "you" in general not you specifically

Jimbo's...I used to go to the one on 126th and Amsterdam. I know they have expanded over the years. Do you remember Willie Burgers on 145th and 8th?

That's the only one to get

I had one of those at the Flatbush Ave location before a Nets game (nice new restaurant BTW) and thought it was the best $10 burger I've ever had.

Because of this thread, I went there for lunch yesterday. It was pretty good. But very overpriced for what it is.

True, burgers aren't health food. What I do often times is skip the fries and soda and save a few bucks and cut the intake down a little.
