A ghost town here in NYC? Apparently so. "The Hole" is described as a border town that has been abandoned. Anyone ever seen this area?

I know of another called "White sands" in Brooklyn but it is not abandoned but was absorbed by other areas.

The Holes is not too far away from me. I can walk there if I wanted. Some people live there and over the last couple of years the area saw some redevelopment. The area is always flooded though.

When I use to live in Ozone Park I would go there once in awhile to take care of a elderly woman who lived there. That area is pretty spooky. When the city renamed all the streets of Queens into numbers they forgot to change the streets around that area so they still retain their original names (Ruby, Emerald, Amber, and Sapphire Streets).

Not completely a ghost town. I think people actually do live there. Wonder if you'll still see cowboys on horseback. Would see them on Linden back in the day.

There are people that live there but not many. Mostly elderly people.
