PANIC AT PENN STATION: Chaos erupts at Penn Station after Amtrak police used a Taser on a man. Details: 7ny.tv/2oA0dxk

I'm surprised by the number of people who just dropped their isht and RAN. A rumour and hasty guesswork made them fear for their lives and it kind of snowballed.

I guess the climate is ripe for panic these days.

You're welcome! I heard parts of the story earlier, but I found the raw video of it pretty shocking. And I think the video was only the tail end of the chaos. It really must have been a mad house.

Yeah, he kind of got left out of the story didn't he? Like the cow who tipped the candle in the barn. I wonder what he could have possibly said or done, and if the Transit cops were justified.

Suddenly New Yorkers don't seem quite so brave and stoic, eh?

NY'ers are sheep, part and parcel. They immediately turn to the cops and firemen they all hate (well maybe not as much the firemen ) whenever something even slightly hairy happens.

They ridicule non-sheeple as "paranoid" and "fearful", when in fact time and time again they prove in living color how pathetic and nancified they themselves are.

If you are not a sheep, if you've faced down danger in your past with gumption and resolve, having come out on top: stand strong and proud. You are one of few in this city.

Eat. Drink. Be merry! For tomorrow we die. Till Vahalla brothers and sisters!

The mantra of a man or woman of honor.
