Thanks, I found out from my garage I didn't get my transfer. I'm happy I didn't. Going to Queens would probably keep me towards the bottom for awhile, since the garage I wanted has 150+ guys. So I'll have 8 guys beat where I'm staying.

I just logged onto NYCERS and it says I'm in Tier 3 and retirement plan SA22E. I was Tier 6 with my old city job and I thought new hires are Tier 6. Can anyone give some info on this please?

If a sanworker is admitted in emergency room while off duty, what is the process taken to call out from work and to be readmitted back to work? What if the sanworker is not ready to go back to work after discharge from the hospital?
Admitted to the hospital or just going to the emergency room?
