I feel like this girl was a FOB (fresh off the boat) latina. She probably thought he was a catch back in the DR but once she arrived her she saw how other dudes were rolling.
I had a friend who went to the DR and fell in love with a Dominican mami and wifed her up. He brought her to NYC and in less than a year she was banging other dudes. She was young 22; nice figure, pretty face and long black hair. Eventually, they broke up.
Rule of thumb; Do not wife up FOBs women. Especially if they are for a 3rd world country. The transition from 3rd world country to 1st world country can be a culture shock.

My thoughts exactly. I always suggest for guys not to go to DR to marry these women and bring them to NYC. Maybe isolated places, or places far removed from immigrant ethnic populations might help. This stuff is very common in heavy ethnic neighborhoods of NYC. I suggest for guys, if they plan on marrying foreign women, best to stay in their country and be an expat, instead of marrying a woman, doing paper work, bring her to nyc, and then she is up in the heights or west Bronx and banging other Dominican dudes, black guys, Puerto Ricans and cops chasing that booty.

Anyone who does something like this is an idiot. Especially if you're trying to wife someone who has no type of aspirations. Just some random woman who you know nothing about, her family, her history. You don't even know her from a can of spray paint. Many of them are only primarily interested in sex.

What she kept saying was "Oh that's nothing (reffering to when she texted the guy and asked how big his dick was, and he responded by sending his dick pic), it wasn't like I met up with him". She's a hoe. No doubt about it. She didn't even put up a fight when he pulled her towel off. At one point she didn't even cover herself. This was big news in the Dominican community. I knew about the video a week before this thread started. It was all over Facebook. Many of us thought that they were both in on it for publicity. The reason being that he was all over instagram posting up videos of his opinion, and even poking fun at the situation. As a matter of fact, the girl was actually in one of those after-incident videos, giving her side of the story while being right next to him. So this decision for her to file charges, came out of the blue.
Bottom line is that she's a hoe, ****, prostitute etc. No doubt about that. There is proof all over. However, I don't think he did the the right thing.

No, but at the same time it's not a good idea to marry a FOB woman who does NOT have legal status. It's different if she is here on a work visa or student visa and has her own resources. But a poor illegal immigrant FOB from some third world country is likely looking for citizenship and/or a sugar daddy. The man will end up spending a lot to take care of her and she may very well be banging other dudes. And get this if they get divorced(or when) there is alimony and child support. Nothing but potential loss for the American dude who is DUMB enough to do this.

Not really. The real problem that was unaddressed in attacking the police was economic. Finally I heard some high profile Blacks address the matter.
Jada Pinkett Smith and Spike Lee spoke about the lack of Blacks in the Academy as members and in the film industry as executives. Smith basically said Blacks have to do more to create wealth and institutions, and not beg for recognition. Lee mentioned how other industries recruited a diverse workforce (sports teams head coaches and senior executives are diverse, and you have had these matters at least somewhat addressed).
The poverty recreated first by discrimination and then by Lyndon Johnson's great society/welfare/public housing must be ended in order to improve the crime situation in Black communities and to improve relations with the cops.
The focus on police brutality was really a political distraction from having to deal with serious issues.
But I think the public and the media got somewhat bored with the Black Lives Matters protests. I'm not saying that bad things can't happen with cops but we all know this was not the real story.
Ferguson was so 2015, it's 2016 now.
