The smaller the better for parking and driving thru double parked cars.

Trailblazer. Gets around in snow, can move material if necessary, high off the ground, and it's not too big to park. If it gets a little roughed up it just adds a lil character.

The 1 train. Sometimes the 2/3.

I have a full-size. When we bought this car, we were looking for a decent car with reasonable miles and a good price. I wasn't even a licensed driver at the time.

Now that I drive a lot, I actually know what I like and what I would look for in my next car. I do not like small cars---I feel so claustrophobic in them. (And my dad is a BIG guy---he can't even get into some of these smaller cars. Ha.)

My next car will be some type of SUV/Crossover. We like to go camping and have tons of gear that our car needs to accommodate. We also like to make big shopping trips sometimes.

No huge cars for me. Parking on the street means less chance at a spot.

I drive a Nissan Rogue. I prefer SUVs to cars for the height and ability to see further distances. And of course, AWD, but you can get that in sedans these days. It's small enough to park in most sposts on the street, and relatively fuel efficient (my commute negates that though) but has enough room for a giant shopping trip, road trip or weekend getaway.

AWD or 4WD SUV's only for me. I currently drive a Subaru but will probably go back to Jeeps or a pickup soon.

SUVs are good for areas with lots of stop sign intersections where cars are allowed to park on the corner spots. Also if you have to drive through lots of industrial areas. Compared to sedans of same length, they're actually easier to parallel park because you can cut sharper into the spot (not sure if still the case with these crossover things that seem basically like a taller sedan).
