Sounds like you're hating on them. I would not turn down a six digit some of money, and lawyers only take one third.

As for the rest, all they have to go is talk to a good tax specialist and the tax burden will not be an issue. Apply the money towards college education and they will have to pay very little in taxes. There are other things they could do to eliminate most of the tax burden.

Exactly. He DIED and he was INNOCENT. Look what happened to Peter Liang. Slapped on the wrist and is still working. The punching victim ain't gettin no more than six figures, and that ain't sh**. That's petty cash money.

He's in his teens. He don't know nothin about tax loopholes and sh**. By he time he gets the money, everyone in Harlem will have their hands out because they know he got a settlement. I feel bad for the kid but sheesh, this won't amount to much

As I said, keep repeating lies and people start to believe it after a while.

  • All Cops are Racist and hope to kill someone everyday
  • All women are underpaid
  • Being a Mother is the hardest job in the world
  • Transexuals are the most bullied people in existence
  • All black people never get a chance at anything
  • All guns kill people, except when its black on black crime. That doesn't exsist

Keep repeating over and over. Certain groups and politicians benefit from lies being repeated

The dude that got decked by the cop allegedly threatened to kill the cop. However, I still don't condone the behavior of the cop. Being a cop in NYC must be one of the most difficult and dangerous jobs.

The cop is so ridiculously muscled up. Does the NYPD test for steroids? They are illegal for body building and anyone looking at him knows he's juiced. The anti-crime unit seems like their methodology is to tackle suspected perps like that tennis player who was just looking at his phone, so maybe they encourage juicing. You sure don't see videos of plainclothes female cops engaging suspects that way.

The NYPD cracked down in 2008 but let up in 2009. There are definitely less juiced up cops then there were even 5 years ago.

It's a known thing.

Have fun.

NYPD cracks down including kicking guys off the force. How much of a difference it makes to overall behavior is debatable. This guy is in local SI news at least once every six months or so and has yet to spend a day in jail...

This guy is a real piece of work.

In 2013, DaSilva pleaded guilty to petit larceny for stealing $76,000 of electronics from the Apple store in SoHo, where he worked as a security guard.
76k and they allowed him to plead guilty to petit larceny?
