Well, I don't commute to the city, I commute to/from outside of the city, and all they talked about on the radio was how backed up everything was everywhere.

The Muslim population in France is much higher than it is in the US, and you had many more Muslim refugees even recently moving into Europe.
Most immigrants and most illegal immigrants here are NOT Muslim they are Latin American or East Asian.

They caught him. Now they are interrogating him to find out of his was a part of a cell and if they were linked to ISIS or some other foreign terrorist group.
Obviously this was terrorism from the beginning, not sure why de Blasio and Cuomo in the beginning tried to deny it. Putting bombs in public places is clearly meant to TERRORIZE people.

Terrorist attacks have been prevented. It's hard for people from many Muslim countries to move here. They do a good job of vetting them post 9/11. The most recent attacks are from US born Muslims, and that is hard to prevent. Clearly they have to get to the root of these cells and take the leaders down (this has been done before and when it is done lives are saved).
The New York area has been targeted by Islamic terrorism since 1991 or so when they first attempted to attack the world trade center area. At the same time we had these bomb attacks in NY, there was the stabbing in the mall in Minnesota. And let's not forget the gay club massacre in Orlando, FL.
