I'm a bit baffled as to how these individuals are obtaining these vehicles (Audi's, Maserati's, Bentley's, BMW's, etc.) often times the drivers look like they're under 21! These drivers are inconsiderate - speeding, ignoring stop signs and red lights, cutting lanes. I drove through Brownsville/ENY last week and it's impossible to not go a few minutes without seeing one speeding through. Is it really that easy to gain access to these cars? With that being said - doesn't the value of those cars seem worthless if it's easily accquired? I guess that's just me.

They aren't buying these automobiles brand new. Many had two, three, four owners before them.

1. The 'value of a car' to most adult who buy these cars is measured in the actual price and the car's features. Not whether or not it is driven in 'the hood'. Most mid range luxury cars (audi, bmws, mercedes and to a lesser extent porches) are regularly used as taxis/car service. So the sexy factor looses 5 points just on that alone.

2. These maseratis and Bentleys are often purchased salvaged at auctions. So the price is not as expensive.

3. Good/average credit allows you to buy a lot of things in the USA.

4. If you live rent free you can afford to be frivolous with how you spend your money. You have more discretionary income to spend on car payment. People in the hood do inherit homes too.

I'm speaking of "hood boogers" with no verified income/employment and bad credit who are able to get cars that are 2015 and newer.

How do you know someone doesn't work just by looking at them?

it called being "hood rich". stereotypical one works a low paying job during the day, sells drugs on the side, and lives in their parents place while spending all their money to look fly.

Where did you get that from?

But I am aware of individuals that I have crossed paths who do not work with awful credit that are obtainings these cars. It's a bit personal to ask "how", but I would think with pricier cars there are more requirements if nothing can be verified except a down payment. I'm just puzzled as I know it shouldn't be that simple.

Even though some drivers of these vehicles who get into accidents flee the scene, that's just a select few.

Yeah, happens too often but I would imagine when it comes to financing/leasing a car when there's no co-signer. Information has to be verified, etc. especially income but I'm guessing not.
