Today $1.00 for Arizona Iced Tea.

What I've been doing lately is buying cereal, milk and snacks, and bring that to the office. I get the cereal, milk and snacks from Costco and bring that to the office and leave them there, so that I only bring my lunch every day. Now I just have to figure out how I want to handle my seltzer water situation and I'll be ok.

That's what I do too. If I have to buy milk, I can get a half pint for about a $1 or bring a quart and leave it in the fridge for the week (everything gets dumped out on Fridays). I make my own French press coffee (the office coffee is awful) and we have individual servings of half and half so I don't have to worry about milk or creamer. I was buying coffee every day. When I did the math, it came out to almost $500 a year and this was years ago before it went up to over $2 a cup. It may not sound like much but that's an extra $500 for something else. I also keep a container of quick cook oatmeal and granola in my cabinet and just bring some fruit or nuts to toss in it. I do buy bottled water because the office water, even though it's "filtered" just doesn't taste great and too many hands in the ice maker is just gross.

Do you have any grocery stores near your office where you can buy liter bottles of seltzer? That way you don't have to haul them from home.

Today I'm just spending $2 on a large bottle of spring water

There's Duane Reade by my office....I'll have to check out their prices for like a 12 pack of cans....I don't like the liter bottles because the cans are smaller and easier to keep in the office fridge. I can take 2-3 out of the box at a time and replenish as needed.

Some things that I purchase for office snacks at Costco are Polly-O string cheese, Club crackers and mixed nuts. Easy snacks so that I can work and type at the same time.

^^That makes sense. We have a large fridge but so many people use it so sometimes putting a large bottle requires playing Tetris lol

Someone in my office eats peanuts. I mean "in the shell" peanuts so in between typing they un-shell the peanuts lol

Duane Reade in Manhattan? The price will be twice whatever the going rate is.

On the plus side, you can usually pick one up cheap because it seems like people are always looking to dump them.

You know I love eating out when the other night I went to the Bronx just for dinner.
