The majority of bodegas are owned by savages that employ dirty filthy animals. None of them are clean. They all smell like stale smoke and body odor. Hopefully, they don't re-open.
Thank Heaven for 7-11

I agree. The divide and conflicts are difficult to watch. So much anger, strife, and anxiety its like living in a dystopia. Hope things will get better someday. What can one do?

Uh, shouldn't this be a liberal wet dream? The left attacked bodegas for years for filling minority neighborhoods with cheap, sugary junk food. They were blamed for the obesity and diabetes epidemic among the poor.

Our President should applaud this move on twitter and recommend that the bodegas never open back up, to be replaced with green markets and health food stores instead.

Protest what? Maybe they should go learn some English and read about the ban 1st. Funny how the media twists the same ban that Obama issued years ago and suddenly it's a immigration or muslim ban. Call it whatever you want. It's your business.

That would be great but most green markets and health food stores are very expensive.

I don't necessarily agree with the strike because the only ppl it's hurting are the ppl in the neighborhood.

Our neighborhood are fully supporting the bodega closures at risk of their morning coffee and BEC. Many are Yemen owned which they let us know in advance and we advised them of our full support.

Which is why this so called "protest" is stupid. The vast majority of bodegas are located in areas that Hillary won by landslides and Trump received next to no votes. The people that live in rural Pennsylvania or Wisconsin are obviously not gonna notice or care.

Maybe because they are only protesting in NYC and it is more of a statement than an actual inconvenience to its customers like you said in NYC most supported Hillary and support this.
