I need help remembering for something i am writing. There was a kind of sleazy hotel on either west 48th st, 49th st. or 50th, either between broadway and 8th or 8th and 9th ave.
It would have been a sort of rooming house, itinerant, maybe welfare, possibly hourly rate affair.
It had a red neon sign, i think.
I think it closed because of a fire in 80s or 90s.
You got anything for me? What hotels were there? It was not a big one. Same height as the older apartment buildings in the neighborhood.
