Anybody been to the Thousand Islands? Planning a couple of camping trips this summer, going up to the Adirondacks in the early summer but was caught between the Thousands Islands or Mt. Desert Island (Acadia National Park) for late summer camping.

Eons ago, but it was beautiful. Didn't camp, but I'm sure that would be lovely. Did do a boat tour, which was interesting and scenic, too.

I love tent camping. I've been all over the state, hitting up many of the state parks over the years. I've been to both the Thousand Islands for camping and the Adirondacks.
What specifically would you like to know? What is it you want to do while camping?
Bahamas for me in a few weeks. Can't wait! Plus all summer I retreat to our secret, slow NJ shore town for relaxation and jet skiing!
