Queens Village North of Jamaica Ave and Bellerose are nice and very diverse. A lot of Indians live in the area. Most of the small businesses on Braddock ave are Indian owned. More Indians are opening businesses on Jamaica Ave as well. LIRR in Q.V. gets you to downtown BK in 20 minutes. Buses in the area get you to the 179th ave F line station in 10 to 15 minutes.

I said Richmond Hill myself, but I wonder if there are a lot of Indians there or just Indo-Guyanese. The neighborhood is known mostly for its large Guyanese population, but my Guyanese friend who lives there said a lot of Punjabis have been moving in.

Punjabis have been there for awhile now. There's some really good Indian resturaunts at the Lefferts blvd/Atlantic ave intersection.

He might have actually said that there are a lot of Punjabis there rather than that they're moving in, but I forgot. But yeah, from what you and others have said, there are Punjabis there, plus I don't think any type of South Asian person would feel out of place in Richmond Hill or Ozone Park.

OP said it wasn't the priority, but said he'd like a neighborhood with an Indian population, not necessarily an Indian neighborhood.

Thank you. That's exactly what I meant. It'd definitely be nice to have people around for cultural festivities and holidays but being in an all Indian neighborhood isn't what I'm focusing on
