They're gonna check workers text and voice records and then see if they find anyone with criminal records linked and that's how they sniff out the robbers then once they catch them they will finger their accomplices.
They can also check street video footages and match the car and plates and see where it leads.
It's pretty easy how today the digital world that criminals are usually caught this way due to mass surveillance.
You can't just check employees personal property to see who did it. That's illegal and against the Constitution. Illegal search ring a bell?
This was done with good inside knowledge of how the store operates, probably a current or ex manager/security or someone connected to a person in such a position.
Regular employees don't just know these things, or they shouldn't.
Why this money was not picked up the day before? Armoured car companies don't usually work non banking hours,or at night.
Having to resort to a safe or vault room is very dangerous to employees and the manager. No witnesses is a very real thing, especially if the criminal is an ex coworkers. No casualties is a blessing.
This will go unsolved, if the criminal covered their tracks. But someone is bound to snap under pressure.
