What add-one are you using on Kodi? Add-ons often go down and need to be replaced by updated versions. Also if you configure your Kodi with Real Debrid for like $3 a month that helps a lot too.

Also you could put an IPTV provider on Kodi for like $5 or $10 a month and you’ll be set

How has Spectrum (Time-Warner) been lately? If I leave Verizon, my only choice is Spectrum.

we finally got fios in our building. I still have cabelvision, internet, phone and basic cable. we are not big TV watchers so the basic is good enough. Were not allowed antennas on the roof, so thats why we have cable.
last week our phone was ove for over a week, never even bothered me.
I pay 192.58.
Everytime I get the bill, its always a few dollars more, and I have nothing.

would fios be worth it for me to switch?????

I dont have sht or hbo, or any of that, so I don't care.

I have 2 cable boxes, / remotes -m95.91
internet - 64.90
phone 19.95
taxes 12.20 (criminal)

the phone portion says includes over 20 features, hello or goodbye is all I need.

i feel 192.00 is a rip off, im getting nothing really for it.

actually i had more to watch back in the 70's with 2 4 5 7 9, rater than up to 199 +

Seriously, get rid of Cablevision! Go for the Verizon fios $40 100/100 deal and get yourself a digital antenna. Most of them are meant for indoor use!

Got rid of cable in 2006.
Got rid of TV a few years after.
Happy without it.

I like it. I have no choice because I insist on having NY1. But I' m loyal like that. It would really have to suck for me to switch to Fios. YMMV, but it's been alright for me.

Nightcrawler,
Switch to FIOS for a teaser rate. Try to get a 2 year price guarantee and you see a huge price drop from that $192.58.
The only way we win is to play one against the other and deprive them of their former monopoly pricing.

No cable. We have digital rabbit ears for all the broadcast channels in HD along with some other good ones like ION for the NYPD Blue kind of shows etc. there are also some broadcast movie channels.

Spectrum internet for $50 month at 300mb. Then we stream using an Amazon stick and PS4 with Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime and HBO Go.

P.S. for those of you saying channels on digital broadcast have disappeared, they haven’t. They have just been moving around. Like Escape moved from 30 something into the teens. Just do a fresh channel scan on your TV and it will pick them all back up. Even some of the big guys like ABC have been broadcasting that they are moving broadcast channels soon and when they do, make sure to rescan to find them again.
