So my question for those of you who were avid watchers of Bourdain, is...

Did he ever go anywhere and not like the food?
I think he ate the food, but he never berated the food he ate or praised it. He would eat food and talk about left and right social issues. I dont remember him bashing food he ate.

The warthog anus & the extreme overly cooked eggs from the Masai tribesman, he only complained later about the anus' "distinctive aroma" & needing shots later. The iguana taco in Mexico, the pizza in Cambodia. Some kind of fermented fish from, I think Iceland, that smelled like urine.

He was always a gracious guest & didn't complain to those feeding him.

One that he didn't complain about on air but I had a hard time watching was with the Inuit family who just put a seal on plastic sheeting on the kitchen floor & proceeded to cut it open & eat it raw by handfuls, blood all over the place including dripping from their mouths.

I'm including all his shows.
