Conservatives tend to greet people initially as individuals. Not saying Conservatives aren't judgemental, they are, once you prove something to their disfavor. Liberals on the other hand are more cynical, will automatically see you for your race, or other affiliation until you open your mouth and prove otherwise.

In the deep Red South, there's what's called Southern Hospitality. In the South, you're almost always greeted with a smile at the cashier line no matter who you are.

Liberals are the most easily identifiable folks. Conservatives are actually harder to detect. I once assumed a young black woman to be liberal but she turned out to be a big Trump supporter because she grew up Democrat in the family but she's fed up with the Dems lying and done nothing for her family. She disagrees with most liberal agenda today and she believes in MAGA.
