I was a little worried about construction and nearby BQE/JMZ noise, but so far, so good.

I used to live in Williamsburg in the late 1990s/early 2000s for a decade. I only decided to move back because my kid got into a local magnet school. Now we're less than two blocks' walking distance.
Hey Tranator - I got notified last week but have been hesitant in continuing the process. I'm unfamiliar with the whole affordable housing. Could you answer some questions I had of the place/process?

1. Do you see the apartment/building before signing?
2. What's the overall square footage for your apartment?
3. Are any utilities included?
4. All the layout's I've seen have balconies. Does yours?
5. What's the fee for the amenities?
6. Pet policy?

Thanks!

@JAhn123, Sorry, I didn't see this until now.

1. Do you see the apartment/building before signing?
yes; the building manager will show the apartment before you decide

2. What's the overall square footage for your apartment?
I think it's about 500sf

3. Are any utilities included?
no

4. All the layout's I've seen have balconies. Does yours?
I looked at one with a balcony, but opted for one that had a slightly different layout, with more interior space and no balcony

5. What's the fee for the amenities?
I don't think there are any. You buy a card to do laundry in the basement. Everything else is accessible by your keyfob.

6. Pet policy?
I read on the building website that it's cat and dog friendly and have seen dogs in the building for sure.
