The only thing sad would be if all the time and money invested in raising this child amounted to
complete failure. Regardless of race or ethnicity I can only find it an intelligent move for parents
to allow their children to remain in the home while they complete studies, internships etc....
especially in this day and age of $ 4,000 a month rents and multi million dollar condominiums.
Of course
this comes with reciprocation such as family chores, holding down a part time job
helping pay utility bills and even repairs around the house for those talented enough to do so.
There is nothing wrong to let the success of a family trickle down and help ease the child's struggle.
Mind you;
there's a difference in helping and supporting and a parent needs to realize when it's time to continue helping or stop supporting.
Once the child becomes self sufficient the parents job is finally completed. Success has been passed on for another generation.
You guys want to know who really grinds me the most? It's the rent control folks living in apartments in desirable areas for like $300 per month. Those people (I am sure you are here) bug me... .
That is the very definition of JEALOUSY.

Eh. I am more annoyed by you types who pay $300 per month and then you act like a high roller when you do not even need to work to live in a place at those rents. You live next door to people paying $3,000 per month and then waltzing around the City all tough and prosperous like you make enough money to live on Park Avenue.
I remember that old actress that had an apt in West Village that didn't even have a shower but the rent was $28.43 a month and she refused the landlord request in installing her a bathroom with no rent increase. She had no hot water or heat. The landlord installed a $12K heating system and she never used it out of fear that her rent would increase.
This thread would be a perfect opportunity for one of those 'Oh he mad' GIFs.
