I don't know,I guess I'm in the minority that doesn't hate this weather or think it's that cold (stepped out and got breakfast this morning, no coat, just my scarf and I still didn't think it was that bad). I had my AC on for a couple hours yesterday - I have yet to feel the need to put my heat on.

Oh, no. It's gone the same way as your pillows.

I haven't used heat yet either and indoor temps have dipped at times to the high 50s but it doesn't seem bad at all. I'll take these temps over 90 degrees and humid any day. As long as it's sunny.

If city didn't force landlords to cater to people who are "freezing" when temps are only in the low 60's, most multifamily wouldn't have heat on either.

BdeB and his big mouth goes on about global warming and whatever, meanwhile three-quarters of NYCHA and other city owned property have their windows wide open to let out all that heat.

Ditto for private landlords who city is forcing to crank up heat now when it isn't that warm outside. All this weekend walking around UES all one saw were windows opened and or people actually running air conditioners to cool off.

Best thing for a LL of new construction to do is install PTAC or some other system that not only allows tenants to control their own heating/cooling, but foot the bill as well.

I am still seeing kids (under 30) in shorts on the streets.

It look like a gorgeous day for the harbor cruise today.

I wasn't shopping Amazon. When you shop online they don't always tell you how they ship. Whenever I'm getting a large package and it ends up being USPS, I never get it when I should. Usually weeks to months later. I called them and after 90 minutes finally got to speak to someone, I explained this happened all the time and my local post office has 1 star and over 300 reviews on it saying the same thing from people, Yet it continues....I wish i could contact someone who would actually make sure this post office got reprimanded.

Can you call the vendor and ask them to reship to you using UPS or Fedex?

I got off the phone with them again. This time I was given a direct number for my post office. 45 minutes on hold they can't locate the package. How does a big package just disappear! Thanks USPS for ****ing up my birthday gift to myself.

You and me both. They are awful. I only order from Amazon now because of the dreaded USPS or that silly morphing thing where it starts out as UPS/Fed Ex only to morph into USPS. Even joined Amazon Prime because more and more products are not being shipped to an Amazon locker unless you're prime.
