In a few years it may not be needed to own a car. If technology continues to progress driver less cars will be available upon demand. Perhaps fleets of them will be maintained as public vehicles as well. If I need a car I will just summon one via app. We all might give up private ownership as being impractical. We as citizens attribute success by the vehicles we drive. More then anything that's a behaviour we have to shed I think.
If they just get rid pedestrian plaza at times square and 34 street get rid of some of the bike lanes where they put in some places where they don't belong in the first place maybe the traffic flow would be much better!!

I'm a driver and cyclist
The future involved more bikes and more buses. More public transportation. I am getting older and health is at risk so I am more inclined to drive. But driving is going to change. Drivers have to drive slower and share the road with cyclists.
I put in #3 just in case someone who didn't own a car had any interest, so why not. The idea was to judge interest, especially among car owners. The number of people who don't own cars, and aren't interested is pretty irrelevant.
For me, a big issue is the number and ratio of car owners for and against.
I think the conversation should not be to pit cyclists against drivers. But those who operate Ebikes should have license plates and pay a registration fee and have to have insurance in case they hit cars or pedestrians.
The city doesn't seem to interested. Not enough money to be made. They can squeeze much more out of car owners.

If you are looking for interest vs. disinterest of car owners (as in the choices #1 and #2 then you should not force non-drivers only one choice, interest.) not if you want a fair answer to your poll.
1 and two give me the primary information I'm looking for. I put in 3 in there just to see if non-drivers would have any interest. It really doesn't matter how many non-drivers have no interest. Given the realities of NYC, if they bothered to vote, they'd be the largest group.
