Are there any good all you can eat buffet's in NYC? One that is NOT a chinese buffet (although the place in Flushing called THE BUFFET was great). I'm looking for a place more like Golden Corral that serve other homestyle foods.
Mr. RFetired, How did you make it up the steps out of WoHops?
I usually have a bowl of the Roast Pork Wontons and we split a lo mein...that's enough. Usually there is some leftover lo mein. Really, the large wonton soup is a meal in itself. Last time was bowl of wonton and two soft-shell crabs. Delicious.
I think the most I ever ate was at my first buffet at Ichi Umi (it had a different name then that I cannot remember, does anyone remember?) My "appetizer" was about 30 pieces of sushi and I continued eating fish and beef and chicken and crab soup and potstickers and chocolates and mixed fruits for another hour. I had intended to go to Jacks' afterward (about a block away) but I couldn't walk that far, so I took a bus home.
I ate to the point of pain.
