There are different classes of people in Mexico. There are plenty of wealthy people and middle class people. Those people are not the ones coming here. The ones that come here are usually the poorest of the poor and are not representative of all of Mexico.

In other words, you are making assumptions about people while telling others not to make assumptions.

lol @ financing a cellphone. What's the going rate on that? HAHAHAHA! And then they wonder why they stay poor. Systems holding me down, it ain't my fault!

Which word is on your mind? The one for ignorant black youth named Jamal or entitled gold digger pill popper named Karen? Why'd you focus on one and not the other? Are you racist? Both people are human filth. Both people have the latest and greatest iphone. Both people have cellphone loans.

Are you not racist ?

Everyone pays monthly or leases a phone now. I don't, because like you I find it foolish, but it's rather common now.

The thread title doesn’t jive with the article which says “Between 2015 and 2018, half of NYC adults spent at least ONE YEAR in poverty — meaning single adults earning less than $17,000 and an adult with two children making less than $30,000 annually.”

It doesn’t say nearly 50% experienced poverty LAST YEAR.

If I am white, I'm racist. If I am black, I'm an uncle tom. Right?

What's common is considered normal. Nowadays you look at what the heard is doing, pull a 180 and run as fast as possible. Not normal/uncommon are the keys to success.

Nobody pays upfront for a phone any more

buying a phone nowadays is like going to the car dealership, who buys a brand new Toyota Camry upfront, nobody

I can't believe that ppl are still running with that stereotype

And then get mad when they get called Boomers

So out of touch. And dont want to understand what life is like now.

Because they did their time and thats it, they're retired now and dont want to hear anything

They will gladly work it in to the plan , but then you likely pay interest charges to pay it off on the plans .
