To hear Sam the Eagle and city council talk you'd think poverty has been tamed in NYC. Some people take issue with that and did their own research.

If answer to this is yet more taxpayer money taken from those who earn and given to them that don't; not another single GD penny is my response. People need to take charge of their lives and show some responsibility.

Unemployment nationwide and in city is at record low levels; places are starved for employees. If you have to work two or more gigs to make ends meet, then that is what you should do.

Project thugs and suburban housewives both have the latest and greatest thousand dollar iPhone. Both groups claim to be poor. Coincidence?

Just say the word you mean , don't hide

no , but a grand for a phone when you live in poverty reeks of more than a poverty income coming in .

You know how many people in Mexico have iPhones despite making we less than we do here ? People, for whatever reason , see it as a worthwhile expenditure. Plus they don't pay the cost up front, its monthly .

You probably make a lot of assumptions about people and that's fine but this is one that's not serving you well

I don't know, but this page:

https://www.statista.com/statistics/...les-in-mexico/

Says way less than the global average.

At the end of 2016, the Apple operating system held 3.7 percent of the market share in Mexico, which is significantly lower than the 18.3 percent market share it enjoyed globally.

I have to agree with you. If it takes 2, or 3 gigs or 90 hour weeks, so be it, that's what you gotta do. The price of liberty. Lol
