Situation will get worse once the elections are over. Both parties are playing the pandering game just to buy votes. But Democrats are truly disgusting when it comes to playing that pandering game at the expense of taxpayers, business owners, and totally ignoring people with losses. It's like the communist revolution when they demand businesses hand over their land and assets to the people. We are seeing a physical redistribution of wealth from the middle class to the poor while the wealthy still remain untouchable. This class warfare is all about the rich vs poor but the poor just keep destroying the middle class and the wealthy using middle class as their shield.
This is very similar to how the communists in Russia and China rose to power. Mobs of supporters roam the streets and take businesses and assets away from the rich and then beat up and kill all those oppose to them.
Fortunately in Manhattan and North Brooklyn many of these entitled elitist snobs are Democrats, should be fun to watch them get what’s coming to them! They caused this. Wearing a ‘BLM’ t-shirt won’t save them - and then they’ll go after their weekend homes in the country because that reeks of entitlement. Oh boy are these people in for a big surprise! SHAZ, the Sag Harbor Autonomous Zone!

It shouldn't be necessary. The NYPD was being held back because Bla didn't want to tarnish his liberal reputation. The NYPD has plenty of resources to deal with this type of situation.

The cops would be there in bigger numbers. They'd keep the protesters in line. If any broke out and started to attack the cops or loot, they'd shut them down immediately.
Behind the scenes, they run more intelligence operations to infiltrate the rioters/looters social media networks, so they can be there when ghe miscreants try to kick things off.
