Interesting Comment.

Can you elaborate on it ? Why do you think this is the case ?

Mental health is at an all time low

Look at how many negative posts you see on here

Nobody is even happy that the sun is shining

Weather wise, this has been a great summer so far. It's not like you can't enjoy outdoors. Ppl need to go get fresh air.

I agree with this 100%. Weather is great, sunshine is free. Still a lot to see if one branches out. I have explored NYS and a bit beyond by bike and am astounded how nice some places are. Places I have never seen or thought about.

Get out and live. Explore, hell just get out in the sun or beach with a few beets. 2020 is awful. Dont go gently i say!

Yep. Went to the Botanical Gardens today and then hung out w/ friends to partake in hot pot at this huge outdoor dining set up at a public space. I don't know how they got permission but they took over the entire lot and it's hopping. Beautifully set up too. Tented with nice decorative lights with music blasting and fans blowing. The weather is wonderful. I'm happy.

Yes, the mood is sombre on these threads. Of course, with a potentially protracted pandemic in the next couple of years, things aren't exactly hunkydory,
but the political BS is way off the mark.

Part of adjusting is going out and being active as you suggest. I went biking every day this summer and pulled off as many watercolors as I could, something I can't do in very cold weather. The summer has been really superb here too. I think people should do as much stuff outdoors before winter and the possibility of depression from isolation sets in.

Can't think of too many places better than the Botanical Gardens in any city for beauty and wonderment. I love museums, but as an artist, I am even more attracted to the arrangements by humans of Plant life in these settings.
Next time I am in NY, I will visit the Gardens.
