I predict that the this won't last. Daily newspapers need the energy, ideas, and quick contact found in a newsroom. WFH makes sense in a pandemic and the reporters and editors have obviously adjusted. But if the News doesn't get back to a fixed newsroom after a while I think it will eventually mark the end of the paper itself -- something a lot of people have said is inevitable anyway.

hopefully this is the first step to the NYDN going completely under. Their reporting has been trash for years now
