Pretty much the whole world is moving toward jobs that demand highly skilled and educated individuals or gig workers. It’s not NYC specific. Technology can take care of the middling stuff.

I have a friend that owns a dog grooming company that runs out of a truck. Lol. He has never had this much business. They drive to your address and you bring out your dog and they take care of the rest. Pretty cool.
