Giuliani senior may be losing his marbles, but Giuliani junior is standing in the wings.

Andrew Giuliani is thinking of running for governor. Despite having zero experience in an elected office. He's supposedly very chummy with Trump, so maybe he was told that New York is so simple that it requires no experience.

It would be nice if R’s would come to their senses and come up with a serious viable candidate to run against Cuomo who is a jerk and might be beatable by the right person. They are delusional if they think Andrew Giuliani is that person.
Cuomo would walk all over him despite all his baggage.

Maybe it’s just another Trump fueled money raking scheme and they don’t care about winning.

Isn’t it crazy that we rather go for the lesser failure as a candidate.

Political system is a joke. It’s a business.

But it's true... do we have a single Republican candidate for mayor with a strong campaign and good name recognition? And this is the year when any halfway decent R candidate could capitalize on all the fed-up people without breaking a sweat. Running New York isn't simple, but running for office in NY... yes, it's simple, he'd be a pretty big fish in a small pond just because people recognize the name.

I've said it a hundred times, no R is going to win in NYC for a couple of decades at least. Never and/or ever are two words I don't like to use.

The current demographics of NYC just doesn't have enough unwoke ethnic whites left to put a R back in office. The Italians, Irish, Germans, Polish and Greeks are all just about gone. Rudy winning in 1993 NYC is very, very different than NYC in 2021. The 1990 census will show you that NYC had more white people in it than black/hispanic/asians combined. That's now ancient history. And the % of foreign born is now almost double what it was in 1990.

Until we have a few generations of these foreign born immigrants come thru the "system" and realize eventually that they no longer need to rely on liberal white fascists for welfare and freebies, it's gonna be a high crime demorat city. You basically will need all of these catholic Hispanics to come around to their senses.

Whites were still the minority in 1990....although not by as big of a margin as today. Most of the white population back then was also more working class who was more likely to vote R instead of all these weak woke SJWs that infest NYC today.

Crime in New York as been at its lowest level like for years now. Why is EVERYTHING always left right this that.

After trump I don’t think a Rudy Giuliani type is going to win in New York. And ironically Giuliani made New York a playground for the rich which pushed the working class away in the first place. I think a lot of people on both sides want it so many different ways and they can’t have it way.

Honestly I don’t think a lot of urban ethnic whites today are anywhere near pro Reagan ish types.

That era has passed and if you want pro gun pro police anti diversity you can move to rural America. Outside parts of the south or west, or very rich suburbs I don’t think blacks or Hispanics vote republican.
