The City is always changing demographically. My grandparents old neighborhood, Dyker Heights / Ft. Hamilton, turned into a mostly Chinese neighborhood from 2000-2010. People move, immigrants come in, then they leave, then the gentrifiers show up. The cycle goes on.

Yes, the area was rapidly gentrifying pre COVID. However, COVID has put a stop to that. My wife and I were actually considering some of the new condo constructions in the area Pre-COVID.

I could see you doing that. There's some new interesting stuff in the area. But I could never do Flatbush unless I had off-street parking. Honestly I can't do anywhere unless I'm guaranteed off-street parking, parking on the street is for birds and I was a bird once

Most new condos have parking spots for a fee.

Unless it's gentrifying, you couldn't pay me enough to live there. I grew up not too far from there so know the area well. The black Carribeans in that area are beyond unpleasant and hate white people in particular.

What if you can't get off-street parking? I looked into off-street parking for me. No dice. I'm a bird!
