There are so many places hiring and yet employers are still struggling to find workers. How are unemployed people getting by? Are people so comfortable with being unemployed or underemployed that they dread to go back to work for a 40 hour work week?
What gives?

These lazy mofo's don't feel like working anymore because grandpa Joe gave them all this money and since they saved up all that money not paying rent why would they work? The only way to get people off their fat a$$es and back to work is to cut off all government assistance and force them to pay rent again. Watch them come out of their holes when the money runs out.

Lot of people moved away. Those who stayed found work closer to home or remote. Some adapted to less and realized there is more to life and they dont need what they had before.
All WINS in my book. I hope people are living better, happier lives.
I guess enough of those who hate NYC finally followed through on leaving for greener pastures. Plus I guess many who had kept working for so long, finally figured out during the pandemic that they already had enough saved for retirement.
Lots of people died during this pandemic so of course there will labor shortages
