Some posters may be getting a laugh, and while it was a foolish way to die its sad his last moments were on a dirty subway station floor. He looked drunk too. How many of us have been stumbling around train stations or other bad areas drunk at night? Im sure many have. I did.
Its a grim reminder how fast we can be taken out, in the least expectef of ways.
One best GD television shows ever, Six Feet Under, opened each episode with how someone died.
Don't think anyone here is "laughing" at how that poor soul met his demise. However in grand scheme of things when your number is up does the how really matter?

That show was awesome, and I remember the various deaths in the opening of an episode. I watched that whole series. Peter Krause was perfect for that role.
It may not matter to all, but I would never want to meet my end in a dirty subway station. Wouldnt a nice beach or mountainside meadow be better? I know we usually cant choose but just giving examples.
I dont even like walking around alive in some of NYC subway stations....
It seems more crime is coming to Forest Hills. Besides this idiot who died trying to save $2.75 and a man was shot during a carjacking attempt in the neighborhood. https://pix11.com/news/local-news/qu...-forest-hills/

That sucks. Gone in an instant. What a tragic way to go.
