Haven't been on the boards faithfully in a while. A lot has changed in these past few years. Because of the pandemic, I got back into city building. When I first saw the Arches come up I said to myself let's "reimagine" this in the game. The game is called Cities Skylines.

So when I first started the towers in the park, the waterfront area spawned those luxury developments. Very akin to the skyline Mott Haven is getting now.

After a few more years of in-game time, this is what it looks like now. Looking a lot like Long Island City. I feel like Mott Haven's waterfront skyline will look very similar albeit with structures not quite as tall. 20 - 26 stories seems like the average right now.

Just thought I'd share. I filled the map up even more since then, but that's a whole other story. Interesting to see how the real life Mott Haven pans out in the next decade.

Hey, I can still see TREES. What's with that?
Perhaps you could squeeze a few dozen or a hundred more towers in? <sarcasm>

I have CS for PS4 and play it a lot. Are you on PC?

Almost all the cities I make are heavily influenced by NYC. I even use the NYC Subway trains for my Metro system.
