I was boosted in late November. Got Covid Dec 20th. And now again. I’m feeling pretty sick on Day 2. It’s very annoying for sure. I barely caught a cold before Covid. I’m in good shape and live a healthy lifestyle. This thing is not going away. I wear a mask on public transit and when closely interacting within coworkers.

So you're saying it's impossible to stop a virus from infecting people no matter what? Ya don't say!
I have to get tested for covid to work but if I didn't, I would never test. I don't take test when I have other viruses. I just stay home till I feel better. Sometimes it ends up being more than a week. Which sucks because I'm a freelancer worker and don't get paid sick days. But it's the responsible thing to do. If only all people were responsible, we wouldn't have the government telling us what vaccines to take, to wear mask, to social distance, to stay home x number of days, etc.
This is what happens when a society only thinks about themselves. The government steps in.

Most people work jobs and have a finite amount of sick days
You think people like going in to work sick? Smh
Majority of the time its because they have no more sick days left so its either they have to go in or get written up, or worse
When you dont have anybody to answer to, you can be as “responsible” as you want to be

Well see those people have more sick days then me. So, your justification is not working here.
See people like you are what's wrong with society. Go ahead and just go to work sick
You like to justify everything. In all seriousness, your cortisol level must be insane. No need to go into fight mode for every post.
And no if your sick you can't be fired or the company will get sued.

You really don't believe that people are out here going to work sick because they've ran out of sick days? Forget about Covid - this has always been a thing.
But don't make it seem like you're being responsible because you're a freelancer and you don't get paid for sick days, that's a bit dishonest
You could have left the freelancer part out

Data shows that Prior Omicron/Covid infection is providing good natural immunity to BA4/5 after all. This is good news. Covid will continue to get weaker as more and more of the world gets infected and recover.

Are you kidding me? Dishonest, lol. Your really on something.
I'm a freelancer which means I work gig to gig. I don't get paid days off and if I cancel a job last minute due to being sick, I risk not being hired again by the company since I'm not an actual employee. Those are all facts. Pre covid I have ALWAYS stayed home when I was sick and yes it costs me jobs and money. More facts. That's what you do to prevent others from being sick and to help yourself get better.
