Prior Onnicron didn’t protect me from this variant. I know a few others who are currently reinfected. Day 3 and still feel awful.

The key word is "weaker." The discussion is no longer whether the person winds up in the hospital, ICU or dead; it's whether Paxlovid (sp) or other treatments were needed, and how long the (mild) symptoms last.

Well that doesn’t apply to me then because I never caught Covid nor have I gotten boosted. So if I get this thing, I will be screwed!

Day 3 and I gotta say it sucks. No fever but body aches so bad I have trouble sleeping. Have to Tylenol all day round. Lots of naps and all. But I can just sit home all day so I took around a bit outside and inside the house.
As I said, vaccine was totally useless.

Is it worse than the flu?

It sucks to hear about you guys getting sick and hope you all feel better soon.

I know it's tough getting sick and I wish I could just say "wear a mask" but if there's one thing that both Democrats and Republicans FINALLY see eye to eye on is the fact that this virus will be here forever. So I think we need people to build up their immune system to this virus. People wearing masks will just weaken the immune system because you're not letting the immune system do its job and therefore, it will only prolong this pandemic. The more people build up their immunity to become more robust to this virus, then we can finally get past this pandemic phase. And I think that was what Fauci and all these "health experts" should've done all along, rather than trying to eradicate it, which was just a fool's errand.

I had it first on 12/21/21 or then about. That time it was just a bad headache and exhaustion for 4 or 5 days.

Not if the virus itself is weakened.
