How much longer will NYC’s obsession with COVID last? (York: office, doctor)

The draconian measures established to contain this contrived “pandemic” have never been shown to be successful, such as masking the public, lockdowns, and social distancing. A number of carefully done studies during previous flu seasons demonstrated that masks, of any kind, had never prevented the spread of the virus among the public.
The big word used there is "prevented." No one said masks were 100% where it prevents anything. But it does REDUCE your chances of spreading and contracting. How much it reduces is all dependent on the quality of the mask, how you wear the mask and how well fitted the mask is.

Where’s the study that says masks reduce one’s chances of spreading and contracting COVID? I’ll wait.
I’m not in the business of doing other people’s homework, but here is one of the many studies that show that masking 6 year olds while not masking 5 year olds showed no significant difference in COVID infection rates. There are other studies out there. You’ll have to find them yourself or just continue to mask up. Personally, I could care less what you do as long as you don’t force anything on me.

My study is from March of 2022. The first one you referenced is two years old, and the other two are from last year, and one is from the NIH (lmfao!).
Ok, here is my personal study....
Have someone (ANYONE, whether it be a friend, relative or significant other) and ask them to stand right in front of you. Don't wear a mask and blow on their face. Now, put on a KN95 mask and blow on their face again. Does the person feel the same exact pressure of air? Because that air is where the aerosols travel. So if a person is feeling more air and at higher pressure, that means more aerosols are coming at him and at higher velocity.
Yes, one can argue that in both cases, air will still travel. But without a mask, more of it travels and at a faster speed. And that increases the chances of transmission.
And that's my science lesson for the day. Have a good night!

I’ll make sure no one blows into my face. I’m usually not in the habit of letting someone blow in my face. Seriously?
Who said that a mask is not going to stop you from feeling air blown in one’s face? It’s the microscopic particles that will go through mask that count. Masks do nothing to stop that. You should consider a hazmat suit. That’s what serious people use during true pandemics. I’ve never heard of anyone just wearing a mask (KN95 or any other type) during true pandemics; they wear hazmat suits.
And that’s the true science lesson for the day. Have a great rest of your day.

No one said it will “stop” but it reduces. And when you’re talking and chatting with someone at a close distance, then they are blowing air in your face. If you both wear masks, you will significantly limit any transmission.
