Unfortunately Martha’s Vineyard had a housing crisis. That’s the irony in all of this. They can’t be where they want. Rich liberals seem to kick them down the road unfortunately.

They were told they were going to Boston where housing and jobs were waiting for them. They didn’t want to go to a resort town in the off season. They weren’t kicked out either. They were moved to an area with real opportunity and accommodations.

And that’s happening now too, at a record clip.
AGAIN these are people here legally. Millions of other people are still being turned away and deported.
But y’all know this.

BTW the concept of “legal” immigration only started in 1924. There were 300 years of open borders prior to that (you know, the time to which y’all love to harken back).
People shouldn’t apply for green cards, work permit, student visa just cross the border then.

It seem word spreading they will get put in hotels, free phone, free housing ?

“While Colombia has offered temporary protected status to Venezuelan migrants, giving them access to jobs and healthcare, for 10 years, many have decided to try to travel to the United States, according to sources in Colombia's migration agency.“

It seem there another big surge coming to NYC

Bishop Hugo Torres Marín of Apartadó said Oct. 11 that there is a humanitarian crisis near the border with Panama as there are thousands of people risking their lives to cross the Darién jungle on their way to the United States.

LOL are you for real?

1) if you want to start a thread about illegal immigrants, knock yourself out. The people mentioned in the linked article are here legally. This is a topic about LEGAL immigration .
2) President Obama’s mother is American. Regardless of where he was born, that makes him an American citizen. BTW, he was born in Hawaii. John McCain, his challenger for the office (in case you just started following politics after 2021), was actually born in Panama.
3) of course Michelle isn’t a “transvestite”. But so what if she was? What bearing could that possibly have on anything, much less immigration?

I’ll take 1,000 Venezuelan refugees over 1 single MAGA idiot. You’re incapable of understanding complex, hell even simple, issues. It only took 3 pages for you guys to go from a topic about legal immigration to Michelle Obama is a man. Sad.
