They would have blamed this on Trump a couple of years ago. What do the forum Leftists think up to blame now?
Remember, everyone and everything not Left is to blame except the Left, who controls the city, state, White House, Senate, House of Representatives, most of the media, Hollywood, music industry, tech industries, sports, schools, unions, etc.
Funny how the Left is always blame free but they have control over so much of everyone’s lives.
Is there a big city in the world where crime is virtually nonexistent?
I don’t understand the analysis above. Are we all supposed to live in fear?
Agreed.
Crimes have ALWAYS existed - and been higher with people who live in huge, high density cities like New York City.
People tend to forget that NYC has more than 8.5 million people within its city limits.
Today's social media and mobile phone carrying population are just witness to crimes, and news of crimes spreads incredibly faster today.
Not to say crime is not up--I do think COVID allowed more folks to be pushed onto the streets dealing with homelessness and mental illness issues.
But the way every crime is sensationalized by many news outlets and blogs like this one--it's like people clutch their pearls in fear every 10 minutes and hide under a kitchen table.
If folks are so shocked and terrified about crime, my suggestion is do some research and move to a smaller town where it is less likely to hear about so much crime locally.
Or, join the volunteer police force in a neighborhood.
They should do something, rather than fear monger and run around screaming with their pearls in hand. LOL
