Just like the idiot in chief.
Toss the blame around like an old football.
No accountability.

NYC has saw the highest overall crime rates since 2008 so far in 2022 but areas like homicides rate and shootings is down compare to 2021 it comparable to 2012 rates. Transit crime is much higher than 2008-2010 period when the city was less gentrified in some areas.

Again.
Subways are for peasants who can’t afford a nice Escalade to drive them around.
Adams is not a peasant no more, he gets driven around in a very nice Tahoe.

Subways are done at a bare minimum to keep peasants going to work and back. I’m one of them.

Like the mayor said " You voted for me! "

Like the old saying goes.

Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.

Contrary to some belief, perception is NOT everything. Folk who get elected based on voter "perceptions" tend to implement disastrous, irrational policies that harm innocent folk. Ask Abner Louima, plus the families of Amadou Dialo, Patrick Dorismond and Gideon Busch about crime policies implemented based on perception, in New York City. And nationally, perceptions of election elections being stolen, despite no proof, are just as bad. And, the voters sent the appropriate message!

With that said, can we choose to come up with fair, balanced, reasonable and lawful strategies to combat crime, without having to cater to fear-mongering......?
