If you stop voting then that’s exactly what they want you to do.
No what they want to do is divide the country in half being as decisive as possible to keep the same 2 bought and paid for parties in power while people mindlessly allow themselves to be painted into a box and told how to think.

There is but ONE party in the U.S., the Kapitalist Party. it has two slightly divergent wings that play ping pong back and forth.

Those who are doing very well don’t care about anything below them. Not these stupid elections, party or anyone. I wouldn’t care either and I care less and less every year. Pops was right all along when he said, you do Great and the hell with everyone else, they don’t matter.
When you business is booming you are happy.

ANd when your eggs go from $1 a dozen to $6 a dozen you are NOT happy, unless you are selling eggs.

Politics is just a means of distracting you from who has his hand in your pocket.

Marx had it a bit wrong: "VOTING is the opiate of the people."

People often try to portray MAGA (Make America Great Again) as some desire to go back to days pre civil rights for black folks however I firmly believe that it's really the mid 80s that Trump always had in mind, when the USA was the envy of the world. Sure, there were political differences, but most Americans had enough in common to bring us together and unify around the greatness of the country at the time.

We'll never be as unified again.
The original meaning of MAGA was described as the time period of the 50’s and 60’s when the US had a big industrial base to manufacture goods and was not otherwise reliant on other countries to produce products for our consumption, as well as it being a time period where the US was engaged in the space race with the USSR and was performing technological feats such as sending some of the first satellites into space and being the first to put a man on the moon and back safely. Clinton’s campaign took the time period described and spun the narrative to mean going back the pre-civil rights era of the county, making it about race and not pride in the country’s leadership role in scientific accomplishments and self-reliance. It was genius spin to take something meant to be good and have it sound bad.

But yet that doesn’t stop you from blindly and mindlessly vote for only ONE of that divergent wing every time.

The only difference between the dems and GOP in this country is who their donors are. Pretty much all of the legislations passed by either party have been anti middle class.

AOC who tries to fight for the progressives have done nothing but learning how to become a politician and done nothing but collect money from lobbyist. She is learning to become mini Pelosi.

We'll never be as unified again.
Maybe we should have a MARA movement instead.

Make America Reagan Again

Hillary Clinton and her campaign was odious for many, many reasons however injecting race into an American nationalist movement was worst of all. Erratic behavior and tweets aside, Trump Administration presided over an excellent economic period which was only disrupted by COVID.
